What is an ATC?
ATC is short way of saying Artist Trading Card. Artist Trading Card (ATC) are small works of art that are traded with other artists. The handmade cards are 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the size of a baseball card. There are 3 types of ATCs 1) Edition 2) Series 3) Original. An Edition is a group of ATCs that are all the same, each one is a handmade work of art but they all match. An Edition is limited in number and is numbered 1, 2, 3, etc of the edition size. Series is a grouping of cards that ‘tell a story” they may be progressive in design, the series is named and each card may have a name. Originals are 1 of a kind pieces of artwork.
Our gathering is made up of new artists and seasoned artists all sharing the love of creating and sharing. ATC provide a small vehicle to try out new techniques, new products, and ideas.
